Scouts (11-14 years)

The Scout Troop meet on Thursday nights during the school term from

7:00pm – 9:00pm. Scout’s are aged from 11-14 years of age.

Scouts do everything! They do 20km hikes over a weekend, they go on snow camps, they sail, they camp, they learn to cook on open fires, learn basic first aid, and how to build flying foxes, rope bridges and hurdy gurdy’s.

The Scout Troop will develop your confidence, resilience, self esteem, life skills and leadership.

There are opportunities to learn about environmental dangers such as bushfires and floods, go lightweight camping, complete expeditions (on boats, bikes, walking), improve your navigation and map reading and practical water safety skills.
