Cubs (8-11 years)

Cub Scouts meet during the school term on a Monday night from 5:00pm – 6:30pm, and is for young people aged 8-10 years old.

Cub packs enjoy a varied program that promotes learning, confidence and resilience while making new friends in a fun safe environment.

Cub Scouts is all about doing their best. Cub packs enjoy a varied adventurous program that includes a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, kayaking, sailing, as well as games, craft, cooking, science activities and construction. All of which contribute to many exciting badges.Picture 446

Cub Scouts learn important skills including first aid, knots, how to read a map and lots more.

Cub Scouts go on camps through out the year, hikes (sometimes joining with the Scout Troop), sailing, kayaking, visiting other Cub Packs, and they may have guest speakers come to visit.

Cub Scouts is all about FUN, ADVENTURE, EXPLORING, GROWING, OUTDOORS and DOING YOUR BEST.
