The Port Cygnet Scouts again facilitated the Dawn Service this year at the Cygnet Cenotaph.

The 100 year commemorations commenced with a vigil of the Cenotaph from 6:00pm-6:00am by members of the Scout Group and members of the community.

The Service was MC'd by Port Cygnet Venturer Xavier Banister, and the service was conducted by a range of members of the Scout Group.

At the completion of the Dawn Service all members of the public were invited back to the Scout Hall for a hot cooked breakfast to warm up and dry off.

The Scout Group were again represented in the 11am service, participating in the March and as Flag Bearers throughout the service.

The Scouts presentation was moving and conducted with warmth and feeling.
